METALLICA's LARS ULRICH Denied Entry To L.A. Nightclub; Video Available

METALICA drummer Lars Ulrich arrived at Hyde in Hollywood too late to get in early Monday (March 19). It was after 2:00 a.m., and even though he is a "celeb," it was still too late. Watch footage from Lulop.

As previously reported, an eight-minute interview with Lars Ulrich and his live-in girlfriend, Danish actress Connie Nielsen, which aired on March 13 on the "Aftenshowet" program on the Danish TV channel Danmarks Radio 1 (DR1),is available for viewing online at www.dr.dk (NOTE: The interview was conducted in Danish).

People magazine reported in December that Ulrich and Nielsen are expecting their first child together. The baby is due in the early summer.

Last year, the Danish-born, New York-based Nielsen, 42, appeared as Detective Dani Beck on NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". She costarred with Russell Crowe in 2000's "Gladiator" and was last seen playing a journalist in Iraq in the February drama "The Situation".

She and Ulrich, 43, also a Denmark native, have been dating for more than two years.

Nielsen has a 16-year-old son, Sebastian, from a previous marriage; Ulrich is the father of sons Myles, 8, and Layne, 5, also from a previous marriage.
